Hunt Masonry, Inc. was established in 1982, doing business in all of Northern California.

In 1982, one year after finishing his apprenticeship, John Hunt founded Hunt Masonry, Inc. The company began by installing a more traditional type of masonry. Over the years our business approach has evolved into a more customized type of work. All of our business comes from repeat clients or referrals. A good number of these trade partners have become close associates, some lasting more than two generations. This website is a sample size of our capabilities and the portfolio speaks for itself. Unlike your typical subcontractor, we answer your call, we show up, and we perform.

John Hunt

President / CEO

John brings over 40 years of hands-on industry experience, continuing a tradition inherited from his father and grandfather. He is the guiding force behind the company’s transformation from traditional masonry firm to an industry leader in innovative masonry construction at some of the Bay Area’s most prestigious projects. As the President and CEO, John oversees strategic operations, manages the company's financials, and maintains strong relationships with clients.

Vice President

Barry's professional journey with Hunt Masonry began over 40 years ago, a start that led him to become an industry authority and expert. His extensive experience encompasses all types of masonry construction applications. As Vice President, Barry is responsible for all field operations, including employee safety, management coordination, scheduling, and value engineering.

Tanner Hunt

Senior Estimator

Tanner has been with Hunt Masonry for almost a decade. He honed his skills with years of work in the field, mentored by Hunt Masonry's best craftsmen. With this hands-on experience, Tanner has advanced to the role of chief estimator and oversees preconstruction management. Additionally, Tanner leads the integration of modern technological solutions and strategic innovations into our traditional trade.
